Danny Decou
Founder
Danny Decou is the founder of Top Tier Pools and brings over 30 years of experience in the chemical plant industry, where he worked heavily in automation and safety systems. That background shaped the way he approaches every project: with precision, attention to detail, and a strong focus on making sure things are done the right way.
In 2020, while having his own pool remodeled during COVID, Danny was able to stay home and watch the entire process from start to finish. What started as a personal project quickly became something more. After seeing the planning, craftsmanship, and detail that goes into building a pool, Danny fell in love with the process and decided this was what he truly wanted to do.
That same year, Danny started Top Tier Pools with one main goal: to deliver high-quality work that clients can trust. While custom pools are at the heart of the business, Danny's vision has grown into creating complete outdoor living spaces, including patios, fencing, concrete work, home generators, and other exterior improvements. His focus is making sure every part of the project is handled with care, quality, and long-lasting value.
Devin Decou
Devin Decou joined the family business in 2026, bringing a strong construction background and a high standard for quality to Top Tier Pools. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2021 with a degree in Construction Science, Devin spent five years working for a commercial general contractor in Houston as a Superintendent.
In that role, Devin was responsible for managing day-to-day jobsite construction, coordinating trades, maintaining schedules, enforcing safety standards, and making sure the work was completed correctly and to a high level of quality. His experience gave him a strong understanding of how construction projects should be planned, managed, and built from start to finish.
Devin now brings that same approach to Top Tier Pools. His focus is making sure every project is built with quality, communication, and attention to detail, so each client feels confident throughout the process and is proud of the finished result.
